Moksha Spa, operated by SPA Cenvaree at the recently-opened Moksha Himalaya Spa Resort at Himachai Pradesh in India, is a destination spa that offers spectacular views of the Himalayas from its 11 treatment rooms.

The resort, operated by Thailand’s Centara Hotels & Resorts, is the first property under the new Centara Boutique Collection brand to open outside of Thailand.

Features of Moksha Spa include a traditional Turkish hamman or steambath, spa suites with private en-suite facilities, Ayurvedic treatment rooms, specially designed pedicure and manicure lounges and a wide array of water facilities including a heated vitality pool, Vichy rain shower, sunken Jacuzzi and infrared sauna.

Nestled in the Himalayan mountains, the spa offers the calming influence of the highlands, and the serene crop fields rising in the distance.

In keeping with its mountain heritage, the spa uses blends of mountain herbs, rare spices, and fragrant oils to bring guests an all-natural spa treatment experience. Ingredients are picked and prepared fresh every day from the spa’s own organic herbal garden.

Amongst the range of Moksha’s experiences is the Moksha signature massage that brings together a blend of Ayurvedic, Thai, Swedish, Shiatsu and reflexology techniques paired with herbal clay pot compress.

Other treatments on offer include Ayurveda healing, traditional Thai massage, hot stone therapy and foot reflexology.

For a more contemplative experience, guests may choose the multi-day spa retreat programmes focusing on detox, de-stress and emotional balance.  Couples may share their experience in complete privacy with programmes personalised for him and for her.

Moksha Himalaya Spa Resort is located at a height of 1584 metres amongst the pine trees of the Shivalik Valley, only 3 ½ hours by road from New Delhi and 35 minutes from Chandigarh International Airport.

The cool, clean air and verdant forests make this region ideal for trekking and for enjoying nature at its unspoiled finest, while the resort, spread over an area of 20,000 square metres, offers extensive leisure and recreational facilities and is suitable for independent travellers, couples and families alike.
The resort and spa comprises a collection of 15 colonial inspired buildings linked by pathways for easy walking or travel by buggy.

With just 62 guest suites, the resort is designed to a scale that provides both intimacy and privacy. Each of the suites is 75 square metres in area and has its own private terrace, allowing beautiful views of the valley.
